Italy’s daily La Repubblica delle Donne includes an article by Frédéric Roulland, focused on the cities of the future.
In this article, he imagines cities where mobility is greener and more sustainable and energy management is constantly optimized, thanks to the use of Big Data. Thanks to the cautious management of energy, transport and refuse, in these new cities it will be possible to breathe cleaner air and reduce traffic jams. In addition, Roulland imagines cities that are able to communicate in real time with their population through special lenses, noting that these future cities will also be self-sufficient as far as energy and food are concerned.
