Senior research engineer and Geospatial Data group leader
My main motivation is turning technology innovation and new mathematical models into applications which impact people's lives.
Since 2012 I have been deeply involved in the leadership of the research activities targeted at transportation and people's mobility issues. This has helped me to acquire an expertise of the domain whilst building scientific and technical skills in the processing, analytics and visualization of geospatial data.
In 2011 I took on the management of a group of research engineers dedicated to the incubation and transfer of several technologies invented in the research labs. These technologies supported business processes in domains such as transportation, document workflows, device management and customer care. They involved advanced use of data mining, semantic modelling, optimization and visualization techniques.
From 2002 to 2010 I was a research engineer and project leader within the Work Practice Technology group, a group with a socio-technical approach to real world problems. In particular, I have been deeply involved in the development of new technology in support of troubleshooting of devices.
Before I started working at the Labs in 2002 I had obtained a master's degree in software engineering from UTBM (Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard) and a master's degree in Computer Science (distributed artificial intelligence) from Université de Besançon.
